Ustadh Abu Uthman – Bukhari Academy
Born and raised in the West, his love for the dīn began at a young age. He started seeking knowledge with various students of knowledge in his city.
He completed many classical texts across the core sciences — ʿAqīdah, Fiqh, Ḥadīth, Qur’anic sciences, Arabic and more. Alongside memorising the Qur’an, he immersed himself in the science of Tajwīd and excelled to the point that he was appointed to teach fellow students alongside the main teacher.
Together with other brothers, he launched the well-known daʿwah channel Bukhari TV, benefitting thousands around the world, and appeared on various TV channels. He later established Bukhari Centre — a masjid focused on teaching and benefitting the ummah locally and globally. His thirst for knowledge grew, and by Allah’s favour he graduated from the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah (Faculty of Daʿwah, Uṣūl-ud-Dīn).
He benefitted from prominent scholars such as Shaykh ʿAbdul-Muḥsin al-ʿAbbād al-Badr, Shaykh Ṣāliḥ as-Sindī, Shaykh Sulaymān ar-Ruhaylī, Shaykh Hudhaythī, Shaykh ʿAbdussalām ash-Shuwayʿir and others in Saudi Arabia — and continues to benefit from them. He aspires to pursue higher Islamic studies up to a PhD, in shā’ Allāh.
